Privacy Policy
We keep this simple because we don't do anything weird with your data.
What we collect When you place an order, we collect your name, mailing address, email address, and payment information. That's it.
What we use it for
- To mail your issues of Timeline-D to you
- To send you order confirmations and occasional club news (if you signed up for emails)
- To process your payment
Who we share it with We use Shopify to run our store and process payments — they handle your payment info securely. We share your mailing address with the postal service to deliver your mail. We don't sell your information to anyone, ever.
Email If you signed up for our email list, we'll send you occasional updates about new drops, freebies, and club news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
Cookies Our site uses cookies through Shopify to keep your cart working and to understand basic traffic patterns. Nothing unusual.
Your rights You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time. Just email us at [your contact email].
Shipping Policy
Where we ship We currently ship to US addresses only.
How we ship Issues of Timeline-D are mailed via USPS using stamps. Because of this, we do not have tracking numbers for individual shipments. Once your issue is in the mail, we can't tell you exactly where it is.
When we ship New issues go out once a month. Subscribers receive their issue in the same mailing batch. Timing can vary a few days depending on when you subscribed and print production schedules.
Shipping cost Shipping is included in the price of your subscription or single issue — no surprise fees at checkout.
Lost mail We know lost mail is frustrating. If your issue hasn't arrived within 3 weeks of the expected ship date, reach out to us and we'll do our best to sort it out.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Subscriptions All subscription sales are final. We don't offer refunds on issues already paid for or shipped. That said, you can cancel your subscription at any time — just email us before your next billing date and we'll make sure you're not charged again.
Single issues & digital products All sales are final on single issues and digital downloads. Because these are physical printed items (or instantly delivered digital files), we're not able to accept returns or issue refunds.
Damaged or missing issues If your issue arrives damaged or doesn't arrive at all within a reasonable window (3 weeks from expected ship date), please contact us. We'll figure something out.
How to cancel Email us at [your contact email] with your name and the email address on your account. We'll confirm your cancellation and stop future billing.
Terms of Service
By using deadmediaclub.com or purchasing from us, you agree to these terms. We tried to write them like humans.
Who we are Dead Media Club is an independent mail club and publisher based in the US, run by Diane Goodman-Daniel. Timeline-D is our monthly printed publication.
What you're buying When you subscribe, you're paying for a recurring monthly shipment of a printed publication. Subscriptions renew automatically at the rate shown at checkout until you cancel. Single-issue purchases are one-time transactions.
Prices Prices are in US dollars. We reserve the right to change pricing, but we'll always honor the rate you signed up at for the duration of a fixed-term subscription (like our Founding Member annual plan).
The content Everything on this site and in our publications — the writing, art, design, and characters like Cyan Koda and Q. Vellum — belongs to Dead Media Club. The content is for your personal enjoyment. You can't reproduce the magazine or resell it without our permission. You may use any of the artwork from Timeline D to create new commercial works!
The lore Timeline-D and the parallel universe backstory are fiction we made up because it's fun. Any resemblance to actual parallel universes is purely coincidental.
Your account You're responsible for keeping your login and account info accurate (especially your mailing address — we can't deliver to a wrong address).
What we're not responsible for We're a small independent operation. We're not liable for delays or losses caused by USPS, for issues arising from an incorrect address you provided, or for anything outside our reasonable control. We do our best, always.
Changes to these terms If we update these terms in a meaningful way, we'll note it with a new date at the top. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
